Volunteer early for next years’ NAMI Walks for the Mind of America. NAMI Walks for the Mind of America is a day that seems almost magical, with hundreds of people coming together to learn more about mental illness, develop stronger ties with one another, and celebrate a beautiful day with friends and loved ones.
NAMI In Our Own Voice presenters are trained to speak to the community about mental illness and their own stories.
NAMI Ending the Silence presenters are trained to speak to middle and high school youth about mental illness.
NAMI SUPPORT GROUPS
NAMI Connection facilitators are trained to lead support groups for adults living with mental illness.
NAMI Family Support Group facilitators are trained to lead support groups for family members and friends of people living with mental illness.
NAMI EDUCATION CLASSES
NAMI Family to Family teachers are trained to lead classes for adult family members of adults living with mental illness.
NAMI Basics teachers are trained to lead classes for parents and caregivers of children and teens living with or showing symptoms of mental illness.
